My main defense mechanism is to try to be funny. I feel that if I can make someone laugh, they will automatically like me. It’s just what I do. I am quite quiet around people that I don’t know.  What is your defense mechanism? How do you respond to most people in everyday life?

I am a nervous person. Sometimes I can hide it extremely well, but the feeling is always there. Here are some of the examples of what I see myself doing in everyday life.
